IBIS STYLES STRANDRUGBY ZEEBRUGGE

22 - 23 - 24th June 2012

The 16° edition will take place on the beach of ZEEBRUGGE (BRUGES). Take your agenda and write down following dates 22-23-24th June 2012 "IBIS STYLES Beach rugby" in Zeebrugge.

The organisation is thrilled to anounce that in 2012 our main sponsor is IBIS STYLES hotel in CONEY ISLAND at Zeebrugge.

We would also like to thank the city of BRUGES for there support of the 16th edition of the Open Flemish Beach rugby tournament.

We will keep hold of the concept which works: sun, sea, beach, rugby and lots of fun for all.

NEW in 2012 is the conception of the MASTERS competition for men. 12 international teams will compete to become the first winners of the MASTERS competition. A total prizemoney of 1700 euro is awaiting the top 3. With € 1000 for the winners !

Also NEW in 2012 is the camping site which we will open up during the festival from Fridayevening till Sunday.

What stays ?

The program stays unchanged. With 2 days of competition and the finals for men & women on Sunday 24th of June. Saturdayevening a big BBQ will take place, followed by our BEACHPARTY.
Fridayafternoon 22th June we have a schoolstournament running.

!!! NEW LOCATION IN 2011 !!!

For the new year we present you our 15th edition of the Open Flemish Beachrugby Tournament, which will be held from 24th till 26th of June 2011 at SURFCLUB TWINS in BREDENE (next to Oostende - 5min drive)

The format of last year will be kept with Sun, Sea, Beach, Rugby and Fun for ALL. And for those who like to party, there will be music till 03 O' clock.

What stays the same ?

The program is unchanged.
Friday afternoon we kick off with a school tournament (secondary schools). In the evening we organise a welcome party and captainsdrink at the Surfclub on the beach.
Again 2 days of games for women and men with the finals of the Cup, Plate and Bowl on Sunday.
Saturday evening our Big BBQ on the Beach, followed by our awesome  “Beach party”
